Dr. Nitin Raju and his team treat all our patients with compassion and respect. We know many patients calling our office are in pain and work hard to see patients expeditiously to get them out of pain. During your exam, we take the time to understand your concerns and present options so you can decide what is best for you.
Quality care comes with spending the appropriate amount of time with our patients. We don’t overbook or double book patients. We strive for punctuality and schedule our patients for more time than will be required for their care. This gives our patients adequate time to have any questions or concerns they may have answered and get the individualized treatment they deserve.
We all know how frustrating it is when there is uncertainty about our health, especially after surgery. Our goal is to eliminate that anxiety by minimizing any barriers of communication between patient and doctor. Following surgery, patients have direct access to Dr. Raju regarding their treatment.
A difficult decision our office had to make was whether to enroll with dental insurances. For a variety of reasons, but most importantly to maximize quality of care, we have decided to remain an out-of-network provider. Our focus is doing everything we can to optimize your healing and recovery. Counterintuitively, not enrolling in insurance also allows our office to have very competitive fees and provide a tremendous value compared to many dental offices.
In a traditional dental or oral surgery office, fees are based on how impacted a tooth is (mostly because this is how insurance determines reimbursement rates) – these fees range from $350-700 per extracted tooth (fairhealthconsumer.org). Dr. Raju has extracted thousands of teeth and has a couple of issues with this model. Some of these “simpler” extractions are not always that simple and an impacted tooth does not equate to a difficult extraction. We have simplified our categorization (and pricing) into “extraction” and “extraction with very high risk of complications.” 99% of our extractions are not considered complicated.
Simplifying our pricing allows us to give patients a usable estimate of how much their care will cost. It also allows us to provide complimentary LED photobiomodulation with all of our extractions and platelet rich fibrin at a low cost. Our focus should be on healing and recovery and we want to make it easy for you to make these choices.
